I have exactly the same issue very concerning as the lady on the phone is saying they have a different number ported over

Is this your Sky Talk landline phone that isn't working and if it isn't have you made any changes to your broadband account recently ?

Have you switched to Sky from another provider, then? If you dial 17070, is the number you hear in the recorded message your number?
