Sky Apple TV app glitching

When watching Apple TV on Sky app I keep getting the spinning wheel. Internet connection is fine

It seems to do this a lot for many people on Sky Q. 

Try giving the box a power cycle - turn it off at the wall for a minute then power it back on and see if that helps, or better still, use the Apple TV+ app on any other device, be it on your smart TV, Firestick, Roku, etc. as the apps on Q are quite slow and unreliable.
