I've just started to get a 'Notification' banner at the bottom right of my screen with a picture of the 'select, left, right' toggles.
Anyone else getting this. It stays on for about 5 minutes and is useless and annoying. Any ideas to get rid will be greatly appreciated. 👍🏻😊

That doesn't mean it's not a TV notification. You'll need to use the TV remote to dismiss it.

I have never heard of such behaviour.
Is it possibly from your TV ? (which I think is more likely)

I'll check thanks but I've never had it before. I'm not turning on the TV any differently, just using SkyQ remote.

We are having the same problem with the banner at the bottom corner today. I've tried to open it or remove it but it comes back.
How do you read it or remove it.

This definitely sounds like a tv message, not Sky. You'd need to use your tv remote to clear it.

Thanks, I switched from sky to tv, and there 3 notifications from Sony to say that they were switching casting and apps off for YouTube and Netflix, read these and now back on Sky with no notifications.
PS TV screen was so much sharper than SKY mind... been a while since I had used the freeview.

Are your TVs Sony?
Tonight I switched on my bedroom Sony to find such an icon on the bottom right.
Using my TV remote (not Sky) I selected it and got a message about Termination of services. Unfortunately I left the message to post this and didn't see the message in full before it went off.
I am thus sure this is what you are probably seeing and reiterate to find and use your TV remotes

Although I'd agree with the other replies it's likely a TV message rather than Sky Q message

Such messages are generated by the smart operating system of the television when triggered by the manufacturer, and can only be dismissed using the television remote control handset (not a paired Sky remote)
You are 'having the same issue' because the particular company has triggered the same message on every one of their television sets of that particular vintage: as @Q32 and @@nigea99 indicate this is typically a legal notification about a change in terms & conditions.

not TV, change input to Fire TV and Notification goes, go to Macbook (HDMI) no message, only on Sky. So deffo nack all to do with TV, plus odd only SKY customers have this issue
