If you are going to look elsewhere, I would wait until after April when all the ISP's have applied their annual increases.

There's a general increase in April - and don't forget you're billed a month in advance.

@raymond18

Sky review their pricing every year and any increases normally occur in April in the UK so you'd have had an increase last April as well.

so that's current discount

Part month increase

April 68

Full month increase

end of contract 96 no explanation

That will be undiscounted payment so you need to renegotiate new discounts to bring it down again.

So you don't get full discount for 18 months when you renegotiate.

You do, but Sky can (and do) review, and normally increase, their prices annually which they are allowed to do.

When I spoke to sky I asked if I could go on sky stream with fttp. I was told no. Yet my sky app it is saying upgrade to full fibre, life is never simple.

Worth noting that historically ISPs and subscription television providers have applied CPI* plus around 4% as an annual increase.  Virgin uses RPI (which is even higher) plus 3.9%, while for BT/EE it's CPI plus 3.9%

*at the government figure for the December preceding an April increase

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate if FTTP is available

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

I am aware but it's annoying that you have to keep negotiating every 18 months. Last person I spoke to was working from home with the kids screaming in background.

Granted  - it's a chore.

If you find a provider with whom you don't need to negotiate periodically, let us know.
