Sky go on playstation 5

Hi team,

Having the same issue as above. I have sky go extra, but when I try to watch sky go on a pkaystation device I am met with a message that says 'to watch this programme you will need to purchase the Sky Go Extra package' - but I already have it.

Sky team - can you help please?

So to get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Hi,

Is anyone able to assist me with this problem too?

Sky Go on PS5, i can access live TV, but no access to recordings. Device is on the same WIFI as my phone and i can access on there but not my Playstation 5?

I have sky multiroom and SkyGo Extra i belive.

Hi,

Thanks for coming back to me.

I dont have the option to see the ''recordings'' area on my PS5.

I can access catchup and live TV, but i cant seem to get my recordings to show. I can see this on Sky Go on my mobile, but not the playstation? @caesarome

I'm no expert on this as I am not a gaming person but I'm not sure you can view anything other than live TV on a console unless you know any different ?

I assumed it would be the same access as on a mobile device. So i would be able to see the same recordings from my SkyQ box.

I havent heard that before and on looking at other commuity pages, i may need to download ''Tv From Sky'' rather than Sky go?

TV from Sky is what is known as Sky Go on a console as it is named this instead of Sky Go.

@caesarome  Ok, thank you for your advise. It is much appricaited. 

I will try to download the Tv From Sky app tonight rather than the Sky Go, and see if that works instead?

I will come back to you tomorrow with an update.
