Removed device logged back in after password reset

I had 6 devices on my sky go extra. Two for me, two for my daughter, and two for my son in law. To cut a long story short I no longer want my son in.law to have access to my subscription via sky go. I removed all 6 devices and changed my sky log in password and told it to no-one else. I.then resigned in with my now three devices. Two weeks later and son.in.laws removed device has today re-signed in. How is this possible after I removed his device and changed the sky log in password ?

Just changing the password doesn't stop them as you have discovered as there is an extra stelp you need to take to prevent them from logging in again.

Try this:

First change your password:

https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/

Then go to this link:

https://skyid.sky.com/authorise/manage

If you tick "Sky Apps" and then the remove button, then anyone using SkyGo or SkyNews or SkySports apps etc. using your credentials will have the previous auth token removed and will be forced to sign in again (using the new password only you know). Will mean people you want to use your ID will need to do the same, but will force whoever is using your previous details off, this might not stop them straight away but it will over a day or so.
