I get a message saying I need to upgrade my subscription when I try to watch BT sport but I have had BT sport with Sky for at least a year

You can also try fully power cycling your device and even uninstalling then reinstalling the app.

Hi @JulesH12879, I assume you are trying to watch on Sky Go if your BT Sport subscription is paid via Sky?
If not, you need the BT Sport app if you pay BT but watch on Sky Q.
Which scenario is yours?

Log out of the Sky Go mobile app then back in (settings cog > scroll down > Sign Out). I've had this in the past and re-signing in seems to clear the block,
