I have been denied access to my sky email account today and whenever I try to enter another way the user is defaults to a different account name.  Any suggestions?

What's the error message? Are you outside the UK/Ireland?

been out of the UK for 10 years and not had a problem yet.  Also, this has posted from a different user ID to the one I use on this account

The error has arisen because of a perceived security risk associated with the IP address you're connecting from. There have been several reports of this over the last week, so it looks like Sky may have tightened their security. You may be able to log in ok via a different connection or location, or try a mobile connection if you're currently using local WiFi.
