We recently moved to Sky fibre and since then my Android phone thinks I'm in Manchester when using google based apps; e.g. a weather app & google maps. I'm actually in a location near Edinburgh.
I tried all the usual google and phone location settings then realised it was Sky WiFi on the phone causing the issue. If I turned off WiFi my location was correct. My Mac on WiFi is showing the correct location using google and apple maps so it seems to be the phone/ SKY combo causing the issue.
It's not exactly a showstopper but annoying none the less.
I've attached various network settings from my phone.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreBest 2 things to do to solve it is as follows;
1. Unplug your hub for 1hr to get a new public IP
2. Go to your phones settings and under reset, reset the network settings.

Seems to have rectified itself without taking your helpful advice. If it recurs I will do as you suggest! Thanks.
