If you have Sky Q television, WiFi dropping between 02:30 and 05:45 is typically a side effect of the Eco setting on the main Q box.

Re: Cannot log on overnight?

Thanks for that but why would the sky q be effecting the internet as they are separate systems, or so I thought ?

When Sky is the ISP any Q television box (including Q Minis) rebroadcasts the WiFi signal from the Hub as a 'hotspot', but this function doesn't work when the main box is in its low power mode.  A device which gets its signal from a Q box rather than the Hub can drop offline at that point.

Changing the power saving setting on the main Q box stops this WiFi drop.
