Completely agree. I do wish Sky would stop doing this and ruining it for people who want to watch things later

Agree! Happened to me today. I have sky stream and to get to the race to watch it on catch up, there was already a banner showing Lando as the champion! Totally spoilt it. It would have been only about an hour after the race would have finished as well. Totally wrong and unfair Sky. Stop!!

Re: Come on Sky… F1 results right on the homepage?
Could not agree more.
I avoided it all day. And was met with this, anyone at Sky who thinks this is a good idea needs to be gone.
even when I tried to watch the race it continuously said there was a technical error and have still not been able to play it.

I got this response via email today:
"Thank you for contacting us and sharing your concerns about Abu Dhabi F1 advertised result's on Sunday. We appreciate that you have taken the time to let us know how this impacts your viewing experience.
We understand how frustrating it can be when you’re planning to watch a race later and the results are revealed unexpectedly. Our intention is to keep viewers informed across all sports, but we recognise that many fans prefer to avoid spoilers and enjoy the event in full at a time that suits them.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We hope you’ll continue to enjoy our coverage when the new season starts in March 2026 and please be assured that we remain committed to delivering the best possible experience for sports fans."
Not very useful reply, sure keep viewers informed... via sky sports news not via the EPG. Cancelled Sky Sports and will get my sports from other methods.

Re: Why are announcers give F1 racing results & live positions on the Football channel during ga
You’re missing a crucial distinction.
A public forum is optional — people choose to be here, and they know results may be discussed. A Sky Q home screen is not optional; it is the unavoidable gateway to a paid-for service that people use specifically to watch the event itself.
I didn’t complain because “someone mentioned the winner somewhere on the internet.” I complained because the broadcaster that sold me exclusive access to the race chose to push the championship result onto the front page of the very platform I was using to watch it.
Those two things aren’t remotely the same.
Once I’d already been spoiled by Sky, discussing it on a forum obviously doesn’t change what happened. But Sky forcing the outcome in front of me before I could watch the race is a platform-level failure — not just “how the internet works.”
That’s the point.
