Westworld Series 3 Missing

Hello. I'm a sky stream viewer and I'm revisiting Westworld. Series 1, 2 and 4 are showing as available.

 

But no series 3. Is there an error somewhere?

Season 3 is being broadcast on Sky Atlantic daily from tomorrow at 5.40pm so it may be that they are only on live broadcast agreement. The episodes may become available on demand after each live airing... or they may not.

Hi @Jaderat and welcome to the forum.  I have just checked Westworld on my stream puck and have the same as you with series 3 missing.  I would report this to Viewer Relations as viewerR@sky.uk

Its also possible that Sky have different on-demant expiry dates on Season 3 than the other seasons.

 

When I check on the streaming platform and also on Sky Go only Seasons 1 and Season 4 were available for streaming.

They're not there for me either. Sky Atlantic has series 1 and 4.

Season 3 of Westworld is currently only available to purchase on Prime Video, Apple TV and Sky Store. 

You can watch S3 ep1 live on Sky Atlantic at 4.40pm this afternoon and the subsequent episodes every day this week at the same time. 

If you have Sky Q you should be able to record them to watch at another time, but you won't on Sky Glass or Stream.

There are no series available on demand now, it's likely in relation to the new HBO/Warner deal and Max launching next month.

West World season on demand.

Hello all.

 

There are appears to be something wrong with West World season one.

 

I downloaded episode 1 and 2 of season 1 last week and have only just got around to watching episode one. At the end of the episode I went and checked that the other episodes are available and they have disappeared. I presume the license has been lost or is being renegotiated.

 

I did  however check again at the end of episode 2 with the following method.

 

At the end of the program when the credits from episode 2 were rolling I pressed the select button on my remote comtrol. It then shows the next episode which is episode 3. It has a Sky Cinema HD branding logo on it making me think this is wrong. It allows me to add a series link and a record link and tells me that it airs on Sunday at 12.55 am. I then went and checked the tv guide to see if this was really being aired at this time on Sunday and found that the listing is not in the TV guide.

 

This leaves me with a couple of thoughts.

 

1, There appears to be a on the SKY Q box that allows me to add a series link to an episode that does not appear to exist which needs to be looked at.

 

2, The branding for this on Sky Cinema HD needs looking into as it is a Sky Atlantic show

 

3. I wish there was a warning when starting a new show that told the customer when the show was going to end to save them wasting their time starting a new show when they are not going to have time to watch it. I wish there was something like " Warning this show is leaving on demand soon"

 

I also notice that if I say Westworld into my remote that the search results show that Westworld season 3  episodes 2, 3, 4 and 5 are going to be shown on Sky Atlantic tomowworw at 4:40PM. When checking the TV guide for this it is listed in the TV guide. I added this last part as I found it odd that none of season 3 appears in the on demand section at all. They can only be recorded live but they show the correct branding (Sky Atlantic) as opposed to the episode 3 of season one I have mentioned above.

 

I also went and checked while writing this with another search into my remote control and see that West World season one has now been moved to Sky Sifi in my search results. I have to wonder then why is episode 3 being flagged as Sky HD when doing what I said above.

Series 1 is being shown nightly at 9pm with repeats Saturday night/Sunday morning from 10.30pm including episode 3 at 12.55

 

No sign of series 2, though it may well follow series 1.

 

Series 3 is being shown daily at 4pm (episode 1 was today)

 

No episodes are available On Demand at present.

Basically anything pre April 2022 exipres on 25th March (was only extended slightly), although I think there is more chance of this turning up on the free ITVX in the summer - I thought Sky had rights to season 4 only until June so not sure why that has been removed.

 

What's left on  Sky channels non exclusively after 25th March is the same Germany & Italy now until it reaches the end of their original licencing term on Sky notice the words "through their term" in the Comcast press release although it's more than just Sky Atlantic, it's Sky Comedy and Sky Documentaries aswell.

Thank you for your replies. I got the below message from Sky - doesn't appear to be good news:

 

"Thank you for your email to Sky regarding Westworld.

 

We have raised this to our support teams and they have advised that all seasons of Westworld are now coming to the end of their licence and will no longer will be available.

 

I am sorry this is not the outcome you were hoping for.
