Tv keeps going on and off

Sky and tv intermittently going on and off.  Nothings staying on for longer than 3mins. Been happening last 48 hrs. Regardless of what I'm watching. New to Sky.   Help!

@Charlotte2341  For the community to hlp you need to adbvise which Sky TV systems you have.  Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream

 

What do you mean goes on & off?  Please post excatly what happens.

normal Sony TV.  Have Sky Max Hub.  Tv will play any show for 5 mins.  Then Sky and the tv goes off and back on - resetting everything. Then it pauses the programme a sound still plays in background

@Charlotte2341  What are you using to access Sky though?  Your Sony TV cannot accesss any Sky progrmames unless you have a TV box as noted in my 1st reply.

 

Also going on & off isn't helpful , does it power down?   Is the picture freezing?
