Tv internet orobkem

I am new to SKY and have been set up by a qualified engineer. However, every time I switch the tv off it will not come back on again. A message is displayed there is no internet connection. SKY have checked remotely and report all signals are good. This does not resolve my problem of getting the tv to come on by unplugging everything at socket level several times to get a signal again.
