Sky one non hd

I'm non HD and have the signature package should I be able to get sky one on channel 806 as says I need to upgrade ?

Isn't Sky One on 106 and Sky One HD or 806 for you?

I was told sky one HD is 106 and non hd is 806 both say I need to upgrade

Usually when you don't have the HD subscription the 800+ channels contain the HD versions of the channels and the lower numbered ones are the SD versions

If neither work then you'll need to contact Sky and get them to fix it for you 😞

Clearly that's not the case! 

Not sure what you meant to type, but anyone with a Sky subscription can watch live TV.

On sky one with the signature package if you don't have HD you can't watch past episodes only live I would have to upgrade to HD to do so, hope that's clearer

No, that's not correct. You just have to make sure that you're downloading the SD version of the programme you're trying to download.

Also in addtion to the corrections above, if you have Sky+HD or SkyQ, you can make whatever recordings you like from Sky One SD, and play them back when ever you like. No restriction to live TV in sight. You're never restricted to only the subset of content that's been made avaiable in "On Demand", or have to wait for it to be available, when you have Sky+HD or SkyQ and have full flexibility to make your own recordings.
