Re: Sky nfl coverage...

Hiya Timbi,

So does that mean we get to choose from 4 live games on Sunday nights

2 on Ch5 and a different 2 on Sky?

Any backup/source details for this info?

Cheers

I don't know how accurate this article is - NFL Coming to Freeview: Channel 5 Secures Sports Deal

And don't forget  -  5Action is NOT HD on Sky (except stream).

So have sky lost the rights then?

Re: Sky nfl coverage...

No, everything seems to be pointing to the fact that there will be games on both 5 and Sky.

Re: Sky nfl coverage...

and as I can't see Sky agreeing to show the same Sunday games as Ch5, as that would not be something that could be advertised for people to pay money for, so we are probably going to be able to see 4 different games on a Sunday which is quite a big improvement over previous years. And there is still going be NFL RedZone on Sky Mix as well. 😁

Still not entirely sure if the channel 5 games are going to be studio based banter inter mingling with some live footage or the full matches. The write up doesn't fill me with confidence
