I'm assuming your using Sky Q as this is the most popular Sky device. If a step works for you, you don't need to continue.

  1. Unplug your Sky box from the wall for 5 minutes. After you plug it back in, check if the loading times are better or the same.

  2. Using your remote control, press the HOME button and scroll down to SETTINGS (But don't press anything).
Press 0 0 1 SELECT to access the hidden menu. Scroll down to Apps and Refresh Apps and press SELECT. This will take about an hour, it'll refresh your apps, and sign you out of all apps.

  3. If none of these worked, you can try connecting your Sky box via Ethernet cable instead of WiFi. Firstly, you will need to change the WiFi name of your WiFi network. If you don't do this, the Sky box will still connect via WiFi even if connected via Ethernet cable is connected.
Find the Ethernet cable on your Sky box, and insert one end into it. The other end can go into slot 1, 2 or 3 on your WiFi router.

Even though Sky recommends a WiFi connection, I found connecting via Ethernet cable seems more reliable and faster for me personally.

I do have a lot of WiFi connections. I have 2 security cameras, 3 laptops, 4 WiFi plug sockets, 4 Android phones, a Freesat box, an Xbox and a dishwasher all connected via WiFi. I've found that connecting the Sky box via the Ethernet cable significantly reduces the loading times for me.

I think it's worth a try for your box, especially if you're having issues that may be similar.
