Sky Signature Package

I've been having so many issues with Sky. Issues including engineers not turning up, being charged for equipment not returned which was registered with An Post. They are shocking at recognising loyalty so I'm about ready to leave to a different provider for both TV and broadband. I have the Sky Signature package and have noticed that they have removed the music channels I pay for. Had anyone else experienced this? How did you address?

Sky haven't removed any music channels, what has happened is that the music channels have closed and stopped broadcasting. For example at the end of last year, Paramount Skydance decided to take the decision to close all their MTV Music channels (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdr612yz8p0o), and this follows on from Channel 4 closing down their music channels back in 2024.

 

Music channels just aren't profitable which is the reason both Channel 4 and Paramount Skydance shut them all down.

Sky never owned or operated any music channels.  The advertising revenue which the actual owners relied on has evaporated along with the vast majority of the audience for such things.

I wonder if there will fold the music section into an other genre e.g Entertainment because they didn't clean up the EPG when the MTV music channels closed not even on Stream where there is only 5 left.
