I'm thinking of swapping Sky HD forNow TV, as my Sky contract end in 6 weeks. Fromwhat I can gather, the Sky 'Signature' and Sky Sports are changing to Sky Stream. Does anyoneknow if that is correct?
Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere have been one or two past reports of Sky+ customers being told they need to move to Sky Q if they want to upgrade to the Signature package, but others have renewed their existing Sky+ Signature package without problem. Sky Sports is still available on Sky+. I'd give Sky a call and see what they say.

Sky Stream is a totally different service to Sky+. It does not have Sky Signature, it has Sky Entertainment + Netflix. The channel choice is less than is available on Sky Signature via Sky+ or Sky Q.
Sky Stream is an internet-only service so does not need a satellite dish but requires fast & stable broadband. It does not record & instead relies on the catch up apps such as iPlayer and ITVX for you to watch on demand. It does allow for UHD & Atmos on multiple devices at extra cost and if bandwidth allows.
NOW TV is a lower cost app-based service which allows you to stream Sky programmes direct to a smart TV or streaming device like a Firestick. It's simple & easy and much better value if you don't need all the features of Sky Stream.
