Pro Football Talk (PFT)

Hey guys hoping somebody knows this cause all I can find is old threads here, but does anybody know if PFT has been cancelled/dropped by Sky??

I know the show always takes a summer hiatus but I don't think it returned, it's not on Sky Action where it gets moved to till Sky NFL channel returns. I know the contract issues of 2025 was sorted, so it's not that.

Need my fix of Mike and Simms and also sick of Sky bumping the show around and not keeping loyal customers and fans informed

So the PFT social media says they started the summer hiatus on 15th June.

Some suggestion is it is a 6 week break until 27th july , but I don't see a confirmation of that from a real source (not ai generated).

Yeah the summer hiatus has never been that long, it's always been 1 week. Why Sky bother to have this set up for us if it's not monitored, Christ we all pay massive monthly bills surely somebody there should be available to answer our questions 🤷‍♂️

The Summer Hiatus lasts for several weeks. I can't find an article about this year's hiatus but last year it was 13th June - 28th July.

@Caroline98

Do you mean the forum?

The general idea of the Community is that in a large number of cases other customers can give the appropriate advice to a question which prevents the poster needing to call Sky, therefore freeing up the lines for matters that do require staff intervention and saving on what could be a long wait in a queue to speak to an agent.

After all it's primarily a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum.

Generally from what i can see it's been 4 to 6 weeks in the last number of years.

In 2024, it was 7 weeks from mid-june to early August,  due to olympics.

Mike Florio and the rest of the production team doesn't seem to get much time off the rest of the year, so I think he earned the 6 week break in the summer.
