Received a response from Sky as follows 

 

Thank you for your e-mail to Sky regarding Paramount+ content availability.

 

Dexter - Orginal Sin is provided by Paramount+ on Sky+ and they are wholly responsible to provide the content.

 

Paramount+ have not delivered the content, We have passed the details to our support teams who will contact Paramount+ for a resolution.

 

As Sky do not own or operate Paramount+ we have no timescale to any resolution.

 

Its worth noting that all Paramount+ content will not be made available on Sky+ and to take advantage of the full experience with Sky Cinema you will need to upgrade your equipment to Sky Q Sky Glass or Sky Stream.

 

To discuss these options please call Alternatively you can subscribe to Paramount+ directly on a compatible device.

 

Once again thank you for your e-mail and apologise for any inconvenience.

I go the same response.  that is ridiculous.

 

The episode is available on Sky Stream/Sky Q so there is no reason why it should not be on Sky+.  The other 5 episodes are also there so no reason why there is a missing episode with regards to the content not being on Sky+.

 

We do not need a sales pitch for other services (I pay enough already).  This should be resolved for Sky+ customers.

This is the information I also have been provided by the telephone sky customer services yesterday.

That is an understatement.

 

In my own experience I am now fenced off from accessing any other department within the sky telephone customer services.
Due to ringing up with complaint after complaint (Including this topic about Dexter: Original Sin)

 

I'm "forcibly" made to "only" use the sky department "Priority" when calling.

 

A business executive decision has been made, without discussing with me first.


Everytime I ring sky customer services all other departments cannot gain access to my account.

 

I cannot even speak with a sky store agent.

I cannot challenge this business executive decision.
I cannot get the business executive decision overturned.
I cannot raise a complaint about this business executive decision.
I cannot speak with any manager as advice given by sky Priority is that they are management themselves.

 

Priority seem to be obstructive and expect you to accept an answer that you are dissatisfied with and will refuse to transfer your call.

 

I have actually been advised to leave sky by those outside of sky who I have mentioned this disgusting conduct with.

 

I am a paying customer, I pay for a sky subscription and therefor should not be fenced off from access from sky customer service departments by force.

Tried to reach them thru FB and Messenger but getting absolutely nowhere ! Called them as well but again just keep getting told they can see it as available at their end. Honestly think it's discriminating against Customers with older Sky+ equipment to push them into Switching ! I think I will be Contacting Offcom and Martin Lewis next Week... 😢

Sky and Paramount are aware so it's a matter of waiting for Paramount to upload the missing episode.  Sky Q and Stream use the Paramount App so that's a completely different system. Sky+ relies on Paramount uploading each episode.

Dexter Original Sin Episode 5 is missing.

Another question asked why only four episodes were showing in Paramount+.  Now episodes 1 - 4 are showing, episode 5 is missing and episode 6 is available.  Where is episode 5?

My advice to anyone with this issue is if you don't use Sky Cinema often but use paramount+, 

what I did was to buy an Amazon Fire Stick and them subscribe to paramount+ on a basic plan of £4.99 a month.

If you select a 1 year plan instead of per month it goes even cheaper to just over £3.00 a month.

 

I did't need Sky Cinema. Yes I spent money on the Fire Stick but overall it works cheaper in the long run.

I cancelled my Sky Cinema package yesterday.

 

In addition,

 

If I could find a way to watch Sky Store on an app on my television I would cancel the whole Sky subscription.

I'm bound by Sky due to the 243 movies I have on Sky Store which im not very happy about at all. I just want to leave but I cannot.

 

Anyway, hope my insight might give some of you pause for thought.

Or Sky/Paramount should give all Sky+ customers access to the streaming site like Sky Stream/Sky Q customers have!
