No connection to paramount+

I've recently updated my package but now unable to access Paramount+, I've spoken to sky technical department and they have told me it's paramount problem and go get them to unlink my email address from their side so I thus contacted them got them to delete my act from their system do them able to connect my sky account back up, guess what it still doesn't work also the first page for paramount is in German?, so does anyone have an answer to this problem

I'm not giving up yet as we can ask Sky's messaging team on here to contact you via a private message on here about this if you want, if they can fix the issue for you they will give you further help on what to do next, so would you like to be contacted via here ?

What package did you change to and did you have access to Paramount+ before you did this ?

What happened was I tried out sky glass air didn't like it so went back to my sky q box but sky had to set up a new account and yes I did have paramount+ before but not now

If you have been given a new account then have you tried activaing paramount+ again as presumbly you did before:

A new account will mean you need to setup a new Sky ID to use with it:

 

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:


https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details


Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:

Well I've done all that you said and nothing has worked and my page is still in German,but thanks for trying, in the end I will have to pay for paramount directly because sky has not been any help what so ever

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this, so if the bubble hasn't appeared by 9pm it will be tomorrow that they will contact you by it:


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

Good morning,

My Dad had the same issue with Paramount coming up in German. We rang Sky twice to no avail. We also contacted Paramount who said it was a Sky issue. Very frustrating as you can imagine. 

My Dad just happen to mention to my husband that it didn't seem as if the sky box was updating so hubby did a hard reboot of the sky box (he found out on a google search what to do). While the box is switched on disconnect it by pulling out the power lead. Leave it like this for 2 to 3 minutes then plug it back in. It will take a little while for the sky box to restart. This worked for my Dad's sky box and now the Paramount app works as it should.
