Which Sky TV service do you have, Sky Q, Sky Stream or Sky Glass?
Are you getting any error messages when launching Netflix on your Sky device?

@JustCarol If you are on Sky Stream or Glass and not already done so, go to Settings (scroll down the home page, or sat "Settings" into your voice button. Then go to System management and Refresh my apps. Wait for it to automatically return you to the Home Screen and see if that sorts it.
