It's ridiculous, we skipped part 2 and watched the next episode and my wife is still moaning about it, she has just found out that organised crime is only on peacock

I did wonder what had happened to the first part, now I see what it is. Not much Sky can do about this seeing they don't have the rights to the series. I suppose they could have skipped this episode but then they would have faced questions about why it wasn't shown.

Edit - Is it going to be shown on Organized Crime, if so according to Geektown it is due to be shown in the "summer".

5USA has the rights to Law & Order, although why Sky sister company sold it to a free air channel of all places I don't know.

Programming rights scattered across multiple different subscription based services benefit only the corporations that own them. They don't care that us users need to pay multiple times to watch it all. It's a mess, and it'll get worse when Sky Atlantic has no content on it and we'll need yet another subscription to watch the stuff we can currently watch.

I was just coming on to say the same thing. It's so stupid that they can't run these shows in tandem. I thought it was on organised crime which we could potentially watch, but no, it's law & order season 24 episode 19, and we've only just finished season 23 on 5USA recently, so will be months before it's shown. So I've just skipped the episode, and kept the recording to watch when we finally get season 24 of law and Order

I don't understand why they cannot just buy the one off episode.  Channel 5 used to do that when they first started showing CSI years ago, they would buy the crossover episode and show them all the same night for continuity and when they showed the other series Miami and New York again they would show all crossover episodes.  They made it a marketing gimmick and I loved it because I loved the shows.  Part of it is because Sky don't care any more about the viewers or the experience just about how much are we paying and can they squeeze more out of us.  I want to be able to watch the whole series and enjoy it, not wait a year and wait until a different channel.shows the corresponding episode.  I also don't understand why we have to wait so long for SVU to come onto Sky, don't we pay enough for them to get the shows earlier than a year old.

Sky Comedy is in a even worse position imo

Basically exclusive US shows remaining will be a chat show , SNL and maybe NBCU The Paper if it isn't shown on Sky Max instead.

Absolutely agree why play programmes we can't watch or follow

Law and order SUV part 2

Why dose Sky feel the need to air law and order special victims part 2 and not show part 1 playing with fire

Seems now everyone has to pay for viewing other apps just to watch TV these days

I skipped the part 2

As said above 5USA in the UK has the rights to Law & Order, they haven't yet aired the latest season assuming they still have the rights , suppose trying to come to a agreement to air part 1 is complicated, would probably be easily to just acquire the show outright.

Re: Law and Order. Playing with fire, Part 1

I've been struggling to find a streaming service to watch it on as well.

Currently watching old Law and Order episodes but nowhere near season 24! Jerry Orbach still still there.

Apparently you can get it via Now TV. I installed it on my phone but no free trial.  Min 6mth subscription for £9.99 MTH.  I'm not prepared to pay that much just to watch 1 programme most likely including ads for 1hr! I have kept the recording to watch when I can get part 1!!
