Why can't I get UHD on BBC Iplayer with my sky box

@Mikecollier  Your post has been moved fro  the SKy Go Board as Sky Go is a PC/Mobile app and unrelated to iPlayer.

You don't say which Sky Box?  Sky Q  or Sky Stream?

Which Sky TV product do your have, Sky Q, Sky Stream/Sky Glass?

Try this as a possible solution:

When in iPlayer,

Scroll down on left to settings

Scroll down with settings to iPlayer Beta

Toggle the iPlayer beta on and off

Go back to the iPlayer Home Screen, UHD should be showing again.

We have seen the UHD drop off on the iPlayer app at times on some  Sky TV boxes in the past in here and this temporarily or often permanently cures it.

hi @Mikecollier 

Unfortunately iPlayer only supports UHD on the latest 'V3' box (assuming you have SKY Q)

To check which box 

Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it is 32B0xxx then you have a (V1) UHD but non HDR 2TB Box
If it is 32B1xxx then you have a (V2) UHD HDR 2TB Box (which has a separate Power supply)
If it is 32B2xxx then you have a (V3) UHD HDR 1TB or 2TB Box

Although it may be less convenient - needing another remote etc - we generally recommend using iPlayer & other apps on your TV or other hardware (e.g. Firesticks, Apple TV boxes)  as they should support the UHD version and are likely to be more responsive due to being newer hardware
