Does anyone know why ITV is showing TBA on the EPG this weekend? On Saturday it's from 4 pm to 7.30 pm & on Sunday it's from 3.30 pm to 7.15 pm & 7.15 pm to 10.30 pm. Is it football-related? If it is, surely they could put some kind of description even if they don't know exactly who's playing.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI think you're correct and it'll be footie related as there's a game at 5pm and 8pm on both Saturday and Sunday but the teams involved haven't been confirmed yet. That will be down to what ITV have sent to Sky for inclusion in the epg.

so itv would have to resubmit the data with the correct info before sky can action anything

After the group stages the Tv matches gets a bit complicated based on Englands progression. Usually the broadcaster that had only 1 of Englands 3 group stages gets to show the Englands first knockout round match. The schedules will be firmed up later this week (likely Wednesday ) once England play their last group game.

Thanks for the replies. I thought it might be something like that but found it odd that it was only ITV. BBC has a full schedule of regular programmes for the weekend. Also, I know I've seen EPG information in the past along the lines of winners of Group A to play winners of Group B, so that's what I was expecting to see rather than TBA.

BBC's schedule will also change once the fixtures are known.

They generally have two schedules planned in the knockout stages. Once each channel selects what games they are showing the required schedule is chosen. Having said that occassionally if one channel is showing two games in one day they then have a hybrid of their two channels.
After tonight's games TBA will be removed
