Hello

I can't find any information about whether Sky will be showing the IPL this year. I read there is a dispute over rights with Dazn, but don't know the outcome. There is a news report that says Sky Stream customers will be able to access the Dazn app on the puck, but I see nothing available. I also can't find anything on Dazn that suggests they've showing IPL. Is there a stalemate?

Sky Sports Cricket have not fixtures published from mid March so it unclear what is going on. Anyone know?

I read a news report that Sky would show the IPL from 8 April, but again, nothing official from Sky can be found. Also, the tournament starts on 22 March so why would they start coverage late?

It's all a bit strange.

It isn't really as the Indian board do like to do last minute deals. You only have to look at the recent test match series with England when it was announced TNT had got the rights but this was announced at the very last minute.

The paper TV guides for next week are showing that Sky will be showing it but we will probably find out for sure over the coming days.

In December 2023 DAZN announced that they their app would be launching on Sky's UK Platform by the end of 2024.

Thanks for this. Yes, but for the test series it seemed to be obvious in media reports that it was undecided.  It's not clear with the IPL exactly what is going on. Also, Sky's website says coverage starts on 8 April, which is a few weeks into the tournament.

The sky sports app shows the first three days have neing broadcast on sky sports cricket and main event.

From Friday, the Sky Stream tv guide is allowing you to add the series for cloud recording.

First live match listed at 2:30pm Friday 22nd.

Two on Sat 23rd at 9:50am and 1:50pm

Two on Sunday 24th at 9:50am and 1:50 pm
