how do I get the additional Disney+ etc apps on Sky tv?

Go to https://www.sky.com/ie/tv/apps/disney-plus and activate your subscription. Then you can use Disney+ anywhere, including on Sky TV. 

You may need to create a Disney+ account. You can use your existing account if you wish

The Disney+ package "Standard with Ads" is available free with the Sky packages below (minimum requirement). If you want a premium package, you can get it as a reduced cost.

As long as you have the appropriate device, be it Sky Q, Sky Stream puck or Sky Glass TV, the apps will be available. 
Be aware that there is no App Store - you can only use the apps Sky allow you to use. You cannot download or sideload any other third party apps to a Sky device.

Although the saving vs going direct is less since Disney introduced their 6 month saver by going direct, Standard is £7.99 and Premium is £10.99

I get Disney+ Standard for €3 per month through Sky.....

Well i assume that's Ireland, i was talking UK prices, I assume the 6 month saver is available in Ireland aswell
