Frozen Planet 2 - UHD

In case you're interested, Frozen Planet 2 is now available on iPlayer in UHD. That is all  -  10 points & a gold star if you can tell me where that sign-off comes from.🤔

I am sure I should know but couldn't place it - now you have said that it makes think of MASH but I could be wrong

Re: Frozen Planet 2 - UHD

I can't see it on smart TV or on sky box. Can you get iplayer uhd through the sky q box now? If so is there a setting I need to enable?

hi @Ldog88 you should be able to get it via iplayer on the latest HDR boxes - the ones that do not have a separate power supply - for some reason the iplayer on the V2 HDR boxes that have the separate power supply does not support UHD

That said I am suprised your TV's iplayer doesn't have it (assuming your TV does support HLG HDR)

Re: Frozen Planet 2 - UHD

@nigea99 Has it got anything to do with needing the Beta version of iPlayer to access UHD content, or is that not a thing anymore?

I am not 100% sure but I don't think that is needed anymore

Edit - just took my (panasonic OKED) TV  iPlayer out of beta mode (not sure why I had it in beta mode) and playing Frozen Planet 2 in UHD/HDR OK

@Chodley  Thanks for playing along, always nice to have a bit of fun on here instead of moaning & whingeing. You're a bit close with military but not with sci-fi.

@nigea99 10 points & a gold star, you are not wrong. The guy who made the announcements over the PA system always signed off with " That is all ".
