Freeview channels through Sky+HD box

I have heard a rumour that sky will be removing the ability to watch freeview channels through a Sky box without a subscription, any truth behind this?

@shnookumshnum  Yes it's true but it only applies to sd only boxes hd boxes will still continue to work as normal

If you still get BBC channels on your box you are not affected. 

If your box is affected and you havent changed to Sky Q or Stream/Glass, your subscription for Sky TV will end unless you contact Sky to upgrade your box.
