May I ask which year did sky stop showing Fox news channel?

Fox news ceased broadcasting in the uk as very few people were watching, that they felt that with ofcom obligations it was not worth continuing

2017. Fox claimed the channel was a US channel for the US audience and the channel was only getting a few thousand viewers a day (implying this is low). While all possibly true, it also breached Ofcom rules multiple times.

No, Comcast is entirely separate to Fox/Murdoch.

 

Comcast own NBC, Universal (and Dreamworks). They bought Sky in 2018 when Murdoch's bid to take full control went wrong and he lost out to Comcast.

different family fox TalkTV papers etc meant same dynamic
