Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt's been very clear to me that only the actual on track coverage of F1 is actually shot in UHD with everything else being upscaled HD. This was confirmed in an F1 TV piece I read a while ago.
However, I'm watching the interviews and discussion pieces leading up to qualifying today and it seems to me that more of the coverage is also now in UHD rather than upscaled, can anyone confirm or deny?
I can't believe that my Sky Q box upscaling or my eyesight has been improved somehow, but some of the off track picture is significantly more detailed and sharper. 🤣
