EFL League 1

I only stayed with Sky this season because of the EFL games being shown, even though after thirteen years I get NO decent discount when trying to renew my contract.

I stayed so - as per Sky - I can watch over twenty games of my favorite team (Shrewsbury).

Sky has stated, and it is still on the website, that ALL L1 and L2 games will be shown during international breaks. This then would include all games on weekend 7/8 September, and more specifically, Wrexham v Shrewsbury.

Except......it isn't.

Can someone from Sky please explain why you are saying one thing, then doing another?

It was the only reason I stayed with you, and if you can't deliver, what's the point? I know you aren't bothered about me leaving - if you were, you'd offer me more than ten pounds off my astronomical monthly bill, instead of insulting me.

Sky won't respond to you on here. We're just mainly fellow customers I'm afraid.

Your best bet is to voice your discontent with Viewer Relations - their email address is:

ViewerR@sky.uk

You can also submit a formal complaint to Sky via one of the methods listed here:

Presumably that's just not the case.

Do you recall exactly where you saw this information?

The efl Press release  does contain the following bullet point

  • All fixtures played in League One & Two during international breaks

so @alex661974  it may be worth emailing viewerr@sky.uk asking what the status is

I would also ask the same directly to efl

I could be wrong i didn't think the 3pm blackout was in affect on Saturdays where there are no Premier League fixtures.

@Doc5907  Blackout shouldn't be being applied during international breaks hence why they should all be available according to the press release

@MarkGoldsmith  correct it actually doesn't apply when top two divisions (pl and championship) has less than a combined total of 50% of there games being played during the period

Well I hope it is being shown as its a big local Derby and us Shrews and Wrexham aren't exactly 'friends' (especially in the bad old days of the 80s)

@alex661974 Where have you seen info that it isn't on?

I can't find any info regarding the televised games that weekend other than the main game chosen for Sky Sports Football which is Burton v Crawley. I would expect all other games to be on Sky Sports+ App with one game on channel 412.

@alex661974 The games in league 1 and 2 not postponed due to international commitments next weekend are now showing as being available on ss+ via the scores section of the sky sports mobile app

so you can relax and watch Shrewsbury
