Why do I need to put in a credit card when registering for Disney + as it is now included

hi @Kram1 

 

If you are eligible for 'free' Disney Plus as part of your subscription then, you will not be charged forthe Basic with ads level tier.

 

If you are already a Disney+ customer  but have a higher tier ( Standard - no Ads or premium) then you will be charged for the upgrade to that tier (£4 or £9 respectively) as you transfer - although you can downgrade afterwards starting at the next billing date
