Discovery plus

I have just received an email from Discovery saying 22 September that the discovery plus app is being updated. Will this be done on stream? Will we need to reactivate or anything?

(Please Note: I am Neurodivergent )

It should happen automatically or, at worst, customers will have to perform an app refresh. 
It's unlikely anyone will know for sure exactly what will happen until September 22nd.

@Super+Anthony  Any update with Glass/Stream or Sky Q are done automatically in the background, there has never needed to be any user intervention.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @Super+Anthony  As others have already said your Sky app will automatically update.  However If, like me, you have Discovery + on other devices you will obviously have to update them as per the instructions in the email received yesterday.

Have moved this to What's on, as the  Discovery + app will change any newer designed format on Sky Q as well as Sky Stream/ Glass.

Not aware yet of any upcoming app changes for us here on Sky.

The apps, revised or new will just appear on your Sky boxes. So, no updating is required or possible.

With the move to Max, as below, going forward there may I expect be some new customers actions, like activation etc needed.

 

The changes are the a slow move to the single branding Max, that Warner Bros Discovery are moving/combining all their current HBO, Discovery, Max etc content into.

I also got the email as well but what annoys me is if I click on any of the links within the email ie the supported devices one it takes me directly to the app and doesn't show anything, anyone else getting this or does anyone know if I need to change a setting on my device iPhone SE 2nd generation?

@SKY1992bf for me the three links (assuming I've received the same email) appear to open the pages they're intended to. Have you tried the usual clearing your browser's cache?
