Customer service abroad!
I have always stayed with Sky as their customer service has been easy, clear and not pushy.
I've just called regarding changing SIM contracts and possibly upgrading my phone and I have had to deal with an extremely pushy person, who doesn't speak clearly enough. And doesn't take no for an answer.
What is going on? Very tempted to leave Sky now. And that's 4 x contracts!

Re: Customer service abroad!
I presume by your thread title "Customer service abroad" you got through to an overseas call centre? All calls are routed to the next available agent no matter where they are based and a lots of large companies now outsource in this way.

Re: Customer service abroad!
Having exact same problem. Been with sky over 10yrs my whole family sims with them total number of 7. Had letter to say prices going up in Feb and have called over 20 times to discuss and not been able to speak to anyone who speaks English clearly enough that I can understand a full sentence from them. I'm at a loss of what to do, but looks like I will simply need to leave them. Shame they don't do live chat.

@KD90 Re: Live chat. I used it the other day to cancel my Sky Cinema subscription. I had to use the ChatBot first & after answering some questions I was put through to an actual person. I'm fairly sure I was being dealt with by someone from abroad but everything was clear, there are none of the issues with understanding an accent. It probably took about 20 minutes.
