Channel uniformity
I think it's about time that Sky fix the EPG guide on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream.
While I understand that Ofcom requires e.g. BBC Scotland and BBC Alba to be higher in the EPG for Scotland, the EPG guide seems to be scrambled all over the place. I understand that Ireland needs a different EPG, but the UK really doesn't.
If we take BBC Three as an example, the channel is on the following numbers on Sky Q:
- 115 - England, Scotland, Northern Ireland
- 117 - Wales
- 121 - Scotland
Does it really need to have three different channel numbers throughout the UK?

Dare I say it... but who cares?
Some channels have different numbers in different countries of the UK but that has no bearing whatsoever on what you choose to watch in the place you live.
You don't see the same channel in 3 places so why does it matter to you?

I believe this comment could have been more constructive. Forums are meant to ask questions and share opinions, so saying 'Who cares?' feels dismissive. While everyone is entitled to their opinions, I would have appreciated more thoughtful and constructive feedback instead.

Re: Channel uniformity
To me, channel number changes take a lot of getting use to. I still sometimes go to 410 for eurosport, 416 for sky sports max, 347 for bbc 2 HD so that is an issue so changes the number can create an inconvenience for viewers.
We see here complaints when channel numbers have changed. Undoubtedly if they did change, we would see forum posts along the lines "why did you remove bbc three" as we have seen with other channel changes.
I think To the great majority of viewers, they problem don't care what number the station is on in Northern Ireland, england, wales or Scotland, they only care about the channel number where they are.
