• ​Movies24+ (Satellite 315 - Sky Glass/Stream 314) renames to Christmas24+ (temporary change)
• ​Movies24 (Satellite 312 - Sky Glass/Stream 313) renames to Christmas24 (temporary change)

Friday 2nd October 2026

      

• ​Sky Originals (Satellite 303 - Sky Glass/Stream 303) changes its name to MockingjayHD (temporary change)

Not only has the Sky Witness, Atlantic or Crime been confirmed as staying at 206, 207, 208 and 221 closure. (Always good to remind everyone about losing Sky One, Sky History, Challenge, Syfy, E! wouldn’t be viable.) If +1 positioning is stacked there, I’d imagine Sky need a proper channels to avoid 100 series in the middle of an issue right now and it's really shameful line up since 2018 reshuffle. A bit late response but 200 creates a large spacing gap.

Sorry but have no idea what you are trying to say, the 3 + 1 channels are closing, there is no need for them with On Demand, you could make the same argument about Sky Sci-Fi which mostly just repeats Sky One series now., how long does that last.

@Timelord2018 Also a bit suspicious of Sky Witness +1 won’t need them either as Sky formerly known LIVING TV may not be just a coincidence and did create +1 around 2002. Some are falling apart so it would actually make sense to watch on demand.

@mr.tickleyh I thought that was what 200 series was pretty obvious, yeah the Entertertainment & Documentaries ending wasn't fantastic but considering the +1 can combine could end up 33 channels (included with Sky UK/Ire to remove regulatory blocks.) I’m not sure there is room…the current authorisation is for EPG mirrors over 101-199 create more issues. After the 205 stay at 5+1, 207/208 disappeared from Sky Witness or Atlantic next to 209, Overall despite 221 near to the vicinity of 220-225 sees no difference between Sky Crime and Crime+Investigation merger.

 As for + 1 channels in the + 1 channels, maybe they should just be grouped by broadcaster , ITV (potentially NBCU-Sky), Channel 4, Paramount WBD (or whatever it's called), BBC Studios etc

Or, how about, for the sake of the few years that satellite channels have left, they're just left alone so that the people who still use them know exactly where they are.

In regards to changing channels around. I asked Sky about unifying the Sky Guide for UK & Ireland a few months ago. This is the answer I got:

"[...] channel positioning within the EPG is influenced by a range of factors, including regulatory requirements, regional broadcasting obligations, commercial agreements, and platform considerations. These factors can result in variations between regions to ensure that local audiences continue to receive the appropriate services in a way that meets licensing and prominence rules.

That said, improving ease of navigation and maintaining a logical, user-friendly channel layout are important considerations, and we recognise the value of feedback such as yours when reviewing how the guide is structured."

Akerman239, I’ve talked about this in some of the earlier Channel Changes threads. In case there are specific channel changes that you would want answers for, I think it would be better if you emailed [email protected] or contacted Sky yourself, as they will be better placed to provide you with a definitive answer.

Repeating the same or very similar queries could possibly be considered spam, and won’t really help other customers who are reading the threads.

It’s just that this is a customer-to-customer thread, with a Sky admin team as well.

Not at all. 

The fact is, there are no gaps anywhere in the EPG.

If you think otherwise, post a photo of your Sky EPG on your TV showing any two rows rendered with gaps.

On my SkyQ it shows 8 channels on one screen with no gaps, no matter where I scroll up and down. Always 8, always with the same spacing between the rows. 🙂
