Re: Changes to the TV Guide - March 2026

Last thing I see WION is no longer on Sky, Wouldn’t it be appropriate for AnewzTV to launch EPG has flown a new channel since 2024. Have heard consistently amazing stories are Lyngsat distribution.

There might be a deal with Sky & Disney to put it in the Entertainment section instead of the movies section.

Given that it's part of the Cinema subscription, it will be somewhere within the Movies section.

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - March 2026

Moving Sky Cinema Animation to 315 on Sky Stream EPG after Movies24+ says it all, considering they can put the channels on any order they like unlike on Satellite where slots are owned by the broadcasters and can be sold.

Pretty much confirms Disney+ Cinema will be go 305 whenever it launches

I can assure Sky Animation would have thought to be removed from 305, particularly now they manage EPG from the originally planned on doing Movies24 and did not intend for 316. However, TalkingPictures cannot move the 325 instead of 328 then took ROK before 329 brought up old slot.

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - March 2026

Remember when OUTtv lasted for 3 months before the removal due to pandemic. Movies have space.

Disney+ Cinema will be launching on March 12TH According to ViewersVault :

This is the same day that Sky are advertising on their advertisements for when Disney+ becomes free for those who have purchased the Sky Ultimate TV Bundle Subscription Package .

It would suggest it's launching on 12th March

The first linear tv premiere is Nightbitch on 14th March (on Disney+ since January 2025)

I thought it might be Black History Collection, or something similar. Thank you!

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - March 2026

The only place where it would be suitable is OUTflix/OUTtv Proud to accomodate another channel holds an ofcom broadcast licence as March 2026. And the 152/164 supposed to be used for gaps that can’t be filled EPG blanks, before launching Freeview.

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - March 2026

I doubt Sky Replay, Max, Showcase have often wondered about the value of keeping Entertainment section as good as gold" in a world that no longer exists. Similar thing happened before Sky Sports Mix moves to Sports genre around 2020 when a channel 145 led to 416 is currently on Sky Sci-Fi or move back from somewhere else fills the 152 gap, Plus PremierRugby thought Sky not to launch last year.

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - March 2026

Sky Sci-Fi has been on 3 channel numbers since October - 139 then 152 and then 145

It's like afterthought

There is elements of it remind me of the old Sky Two, maybe they should merge it with Sky Comedy.

Sky Comedy on 26th March looks more like a Sky One back catalogue channel  - Will & Grace, Community, The Office U.S ,  Based On A True Story and Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Sky Sci-Fi is similar - The Walking Dead , Grimm and Stargate SG1

@Timelord2018

That's what Sky Comedy and Sky Sci-Fi are, to provide a genre under which they can present their back catalogue of content on demand as well as being linear channels. That's why there would be no sense at all to merging them.
