Don't use the linear channels and use On Demand as your a Glass/Stream user the channels would only be for watching live which is a thing you would not need to do 🙄

Plus, the linear channels only play out in HD.

So if you have uhd/hdr and Dolby package add ones, you are missing out on the better picture quality and audio.

I like the differentiation between comedy, drama, thriller etc in the channel name.

The frequent changing of channel names doesn't bother me but it is more that I don't mind one way or the other. (Although a rename does help to know to avoid the station like if it is a popular franchise I have no interest in in the 25 years since it was made)

Though I think renaming for special things like christmas, Halloween is good. The rest, I wouldn't miss if it was discontinued.

What difference would that make, I cannot understand why does it matter what 3 digits one has to type to access a channel?

Don't need to imagine, tnt sports 3 and tnt sports 4 are moving to 413 and 414 on 27th February, as these positions are owned by WBD

Unfortunately, Sky has it set so that channels have specific allocations on the EPG.  In the UK, Sky Sports+ is on channel 412 while Premier Sports 1 is on 412 in Ireland. 

For more information on this, you can have a look at this "Method for allocating listings in Sky’s EPG" PDF from 28 February 2022 explaining the channel categories and sections and why Sky has (currently) TNT Sports not grouped together. It may be a little outdated, but it gives the general gist of what rules there are for Sky.

Correct, Sky has no citation for swapping things to move the 417/421 TNT Sports 3/4 and all jumbled based on each channel by sports.

On Sky Q and Sky+HD:

In the UK:

• Sky Sports+ is on channel 412
• Sky Sports Mix is on channel 416
• Premier Sports 1 is on channel 419
• Premier Sports 2 is on channel 420

In Ireland:

• Premier Sports 1 is on channel 412
• Sky Sports+ is on channel 416
• Premier Sports 2 is on channel 420
• Sky Sports Mix is on channel 425

I don't know which article you saw, but check the date. Are you sure it was for 28 February 2025?

@Anonymous Yeah the 413 is now TNT Sports 3 and 414 on TNT Sports 4, For personal preference its the sports section or sky platform that isn’t known GINXeSportsTV removal of 425 then 429/495 DAZN after one year channel. Even Eurosports 417 and 421 left blank.
