Neither you nor any other customers on here know what contact Sky and CNN are having on the subject and Sky won't elaborate on it.

Quite so. Having raised it already with CNN, I very much doubt Sky will do anything more.

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

Hi everyone,

Like others, I enjoy The Source with Kaitlin Collins, Jake Tapper and Abby Phillips but have noted these programmes are all out of sync and the reason why.  I tried recording the programmes at the times these programmes should have been on but am getting other CNN news with presenters I've never seen before!

Re: CNN TV listings for UK viewers

Totally agree.

Re: CNN (ch 506) programme times offset

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. I wish someone could fix this. The programming on Sundays has the same problem.

Re: CNN (ch 506) programme times offset

Yeah, I record Inside Politics & State of the Union, so have to record rhe timeslots in the afternoon rather than the listings in the evening.

Hopefully CNN will get this all corrected soon. Sundays aren't too bad, but my shows during the week are midnight to 5am, so I record this to watch the next day.

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

Of all the times for this to happen too, was arguably the most consequential news week since the election! Wouldn't be so bad if the programmes were available via catch up or something but if you miss them once you miss them forever.

And going by the current EPG it's not going to be fixed in the next week either. I know there's workarounds by recording the "wrong" programmes but it's far from ideal.

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

I have found that even by recording the times for the programmes that should be on at that time it is still just CNN International News and sports.  I have turned to watching The Source with Kaitlin Collins and others on YouTube.

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

Depending on who you watch most of the shows have audio podcasts. It's not the same but you can stay up to date by listening. I am recording the shows by setting them up as manual recordings.  It's a bit of a pain but those are the only work arounds I have found until CNN fixes the problem (which doesn't seem to be anytime soon).

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

I have to do the same. I watch CNN a lot but usually just selective shows. Currently I am recording everything showing I the online menu everyday,  in order to try to find where my particular shows are!

Does Sky even know about this issue? It's been happening for about a fortnight or more now...why?

Have you read the replies within this thread?

It's not a Sky issue but a CNN (Warner Brothers/Discovery) issue.  Sky have no control over the EPG Data CNN or any other non Sky channel are showing.

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

Apparently it's nothing to do with sky.. CNN are aware of this and are supposed to be sorting it out
