Auto power off
Anyone else find that every night, in the middle of watching, the TV says Auto Power Off, press Ok to cancel. Except it doesn't cancel. So you have to sit waiting for 3 minutes for the TV to switch off. With a message box blocking the screen for the three minutes. Tried the solutions. They don't work. Ridiculous. Wish I'd never changed to Sky.

hi @AlC775
Is it possible that this is actually your TV itself - my TV has a much shorter time to time out than my SKY Q box & unless you are changing volume you are not usually interacting with the TV itself (changing Channels etc are on the SKY box not the TV & thus not recognised as actions by the TV to keep it awake)
When you next see the message try pressing the volume up/down buttons on your remote
(or if that doesn't work, the OK button on your TV's own remote)

Re: Auto power off
Yes, that's definitely a TV message and not related to Sky. You'll need to use the TV's own remote to cancel it.

Re: Auto power off
@AlC775 Check the settings on your TV to see if that feature can be disabled or the time can be adjusted.

Thats because you're blaming Sky for the actions of your own TV, which you need to familiarise yourself with by reading the manual that came with it.
What makes you think it's down to a Sky supplied TV box?
