Current media reports are that TNT Sports are in advanced negotiations for this winters Ashes rights.

@RitaRadiator1

Perhaps worth noting that it's the relevant  body in the host nation which 'owns' a Test series and gets to decide where to sell global TV rights: in this case that's Cricket Australia.

The ongoing Sky Cricket contracts with ECB and ICC for match rights don't cover overseas Tests.

And apparently TNT Sports will have to pay about £15million per year for a minimum 4 year contract for the rights from Cricket Australia, which is quite a pricey sum if you only really want the Ashes matches and don't really care about the other Aussie home international matches.

Unless I'm mistaken I believe TNT were the previous holders of the rights anyway after Sky refused to bid last time so I'm not surprised it will likely end up with them again.
