It was at the time the original posts started and this isnt a consistent issue as many of us can access the app on Q without a problem.

To prove this, I am now 2 hours away from my own home and Q box on EE broadband at my parents, watching the Apple TV app on their Q box open Sky broadband.

The only commonality is both broadband connections are FTTC rather than FTTP, that's it.

Had same issue with the Apple app not opening and it's still the case this morning as I write this .

I tried connecting on the LG TV apps on the TV and that let me connect ok!

Trying it again on Sky still not connecting.

Hi my apple app still not working 😡 on my sky box any update for I've turned internet off and back on various times and still says cannot connect check internet connection but getting all other apps!

Mine's doing the same, recently re subscribed to Apple, works fine on my phone & laptop but Sky box has a message:

'Could not connect to Apple TV

Check your internet connection and try again:'

Then 2 'buttons': 'Exit App' or 'Try Again'

My internet's fine, all other Apps load ok on Sky box & I can watch Apple TV on my other devices. In an earlier thread, Sky stated that this problem had been solved.....it obviously hasn't or not for all of us....??

Same as otehrs have discovered. Main SkyQ box not working but can play Apple TV on a mini in another room. 🤔🤷‍♂️

Same for me. It only appears to be Sky Q access not happening? Is this a Sky error or an Apple TV error? Works fine on phone and PC app.

Is this likely to be resolved soon?

Mine is the same. I live in Cheshire and it's not working. Drove up to a friends in the Lake District this morning and theirs not working either.

Main Sky Q box still won't connect but had a different message on a Multiroom box:

'ATVE.SigninFlow.ExpiredTokenHeadline'

& a 'ATVE.Alert.Button.Signin' 

....took me to a QR image, which after signing in it then took me to another QR with a code & then another....eventually it loaded Apple TV....

works fine now on the Multiroom box but still won't load on main Sky box....!!??

We have the same issue. Worked Thursday night but didn't work last night Friday and still an issue today. Tried rebooting to no avail.

I get an error message in Apple TV on my Sky Stream box saying, “Could Not Connect to Apple TV”.
Anybody else get this?
I can still use the Apple TV app on my LG TV.

This connection was fine till yesterday and ok on all other streaming apps. I can access AppleTV fine on my iPad and iPhone so it must be a Sky issue?
