The Apple TV app still does not work on my sky q box in the lounge. 
but it does work on my mini box in the bedroom, and all other devices in the house.

I've given up trying to fix it - leave it to the professionals at Sky & Apple. Incidentally the Apple TV app on my smart TV is doing the same thing but you can watch Apple TV on an Amazon Firestick if you have one.

3 days no apple tv which I pay apple for but via sky box. No smart tv, so no apple. Sky put through to call centre who don't speak English and put you on hold, then come back and say 48hours. ARE YOU AVIN A LAUGH, as del.boy would say......  sort it out you are quick enough to take money....

I appreciate there is a lot that have not got this working yet, but in the thread someone mentioned the hidden menu. 001 I went in and reset on settings.  I then  let it restart . I had to load my TV to enable it to set the remote up again . Then i went into the same menu amd refeshed my apps . Within 5 mins i wad back up. Netflix was fine. I needed to link my apple account to the TV but that sorted itself and all my scheduled recordings and saved content was still visible. Hope that helps. To be clear this is on a sky Q box connected to my LG TV. Best of luck

When I try to load Apple TV it says "could not connect to Apple TV check your internet connection and try again" but my internet is fine and all other apps work. It's been doing this for a few days.

i still can't load it.

what can you do to help?

Apple TV problem

Don't need help as I phoned sky with problem of not being able to connect Apple TV , I was transferred by a bit of luck to Apple customer service as they failed to understand my problem and sky agent was great and worked me through problem .

The outcome was I Ihad to do a factory reset of sky puck and then reinstate Apple TV and now working perfectly so ,thank you to Apple for helping when it was a sky problem who are still saying they are working on solving it .

I have a solution....... my Apple TV app is now working!

1.  Go to settings in home page and just highlight it. DO NOT SELECT

2. press 001 on your keypad and then select settings

3. Go down to Reset and select

4. Select the option to reset settings and seelect reset

5. Re-pair your remote once it all comes back on

6.  Repeat stage 1 & 2

7. Go down to Apps

8. Select reset apps

9. Go to home and then try to access the Apple App

10. If you can't get access, unplug the sky bos and wait 30 seconds

11.  Switch box ack on and try again to get into apple. If it works, you'll have to sign back into your account

Apple TV stopped connecting to internet. All other apps ok

rebooted sky q & router. Plus refreshed app. Still no connection to Apple TV. What are sky doing to resolve this issue? Very frustrating.

Apple + connection issue

I haven't been able to connect to a Apple + on Sky Q box for a few days. Is this a Sky problem?
