Adverts on Paramount +

I have now subscribed to paramount+ without adverts through my prime account. So no unnecessary creation of new email accounts ect.  In order to get it.

I have cancelled Sky Cinema and I will be doing the same. Latest price increases are a joke.

The limitation is that Standard ad-free is the only option available via Prime but each too their own I guess.

Thats what I want add free. I absolutely hate ads. They can ruin my viewing and the easiest way I found of doing it was adding it to my prime account.

After I raised a complaint with Sky , this was their response>>

Having accessed to your Sky Account, I can see that you have paramount + basic (with ads) and you want to upgrade to the paramount (with ads free). Hence, in order to upgrade your Sky packages, we need you over the call to get you connected to the upgrades team, where one of our colleague will assist you further.

Please be informed that “Sky Cinema customers will be able to move their Paramount+ subscription to a non-ad subscription later in 2025.

For customers insistent on Paramount+ with no ads, they’ll have to subscribe directly with a new email address on Paramount+ and pay for the Standard tier in full (£7.99).  

So I guess thats something....

Fair comment @Bigdavejb not too fussed about ads as they are limited on Prime.

It's the fact that Paramount+ via Amazon is full HD only

I'd rather watch content in a better format though.

Paramount Premium rather than the Standard option.

I get Paramount + free with my sky cinema package deal, I watch a load of series on there, and have never had adverts on them as from yesterday I started watching Episode 1 of modland and there was 2 advert breaks through out the Episode, why start now

You can't get rid of the ads I'm afraid, although it does seem hit and miss whether you get them or not. I've been watching Star Trek Enterprise and have yet to see any ads, only promos at the beginning of each episode.
