Activate discovery plus

Can't activate discovery plus. Scan qr code and sign into sky, it loads a discovery plus screen then closed with error saying  we can't do that at the moment, please try again later but days later get same error message

Have you tried using the tv remote method as opposed to the qr code to sign in?
