Access discovery +

Unable to activate discovery + subscription which is meant to be part of my tnt sports package. Went through sky app but error message

It sounds like the Discovery+ activation isn’t completing properly, which is a common issue — especially when it’s bundled with a TNT Sports package. If you’re getting an error message via the Sky app, here are a few steps that usually help:

 

  1. Try Activating via a Web Browser Instead
    Go to:
    www.discoveryplus.com/link
    Choose Sky as your provider, and follow the prompts. This often works more reliably than going through the Sky app or your Sky box.
  2. Check Sky Account Eligibility
    Log into your Sky account via www.sky.com, go to Your Products, and double-check that TNT Sports is listed and that it includes Discovery+ Premium. If it doesn’t explicitly mention Discovery+ Premium, it may not be properly attached.

  3.  Clear App Cache or Try Another Device
    If you’re using the Sky app or Discovery+ app, try logging out, clearing cache/data (or even reinstalling), then retry the process from scratch. Alternatively, try on a different device or web browser.
  4. Wait a Bit, Then Try Again
    If you’ve only just been upgraded or added TNT Sports, it can take a few hours (sometimes up to 24) for the Discovery+ entitlement to activate on your Sky account.

If you’ve tried all of the above and still get the error, Sky support needs to escalate the issue internally. Ask them to check the "Discovery+ entitlement sync for TNT Sports customers" — there have been known problems on their side with the linking process.
