phone not working

no incoming or outgoing calls been like it for a few weeks since bt was installing a new line to a neighbour no dial tone on phone i have a sky max SR213 router plus A SR203 both not working tried a different phone to

For clarity, was your phone service previously working ok with your Max Hub?

yes it was working with the sr203 and the sr213

i was told there was a fault on the line and an engineer would come out and fix it and  no show then thats all they needed was the mac add for router and it would be fixed that as not happened so what can i do to fix it should i get a new phone or a new router

Thanks. I don't think it will help, but as it's easy to do, you could try factory resetting the Max Hub by pressing the WPS button for 30 seconds. If that doesn't resolve it, it's best reported to Sky. We can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish.

 

Edited: when did you speak to Sky about it?

As you said your phone worked before with the Max Hub, a new one isn't likely to help. I doubt a new Hub is required either. As you've already spoken to Sky about it, I'd give them a call to follow it up with them.

The problem is solved i purchased an SR203 years ago and it as been working fine i have now purchased an SR213 and that was working fine for a few months then not working and i have now been told by sky if there is a problem with my router they will only supply a router that they supplied and i think that was an SR115 and they can turn the SR213 off so it will not work so if i got another SR213 it will not work either

do i purchase a new SR213 and will it work

or

do i add wifi max and can i cancel it anytime i want
