faulty phone line

phone rings and records the message but unable to talk or be heared on the handset.

i have tried another handset and restting both the modem and fttp unit but without success.

internet working fine.

need an engineer to chech the line

@disney+j  Do you have another means to report this to Sky like a mobile phone?

unable to contact sky for help as my sky registered phone number is the one at fault and sky will not be able to register my account.

i do have a mobile number but not recognised by sky.

i have followed all of skys instructions to eliminate the fault but with no success.

my sky system has been working well for many months so why do they want me to provide photos of my set up.

seems as though sky are playing at delaying some action on their part.

i am an 81 year old man who relies on comunication.

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and the Escalation Team may get in touch with you later.

Look out for an email and also a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. Once that speech bubble appears you only have 48 hours to join the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to each chat reply from Sky within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread regularly.

If you are using Safari also make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the chat bubble. If you have trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Chrome or Firefox.
